A 1500 VA / 1500 W online Smart-UPS in 2U, delivered with its network management card already installed, its rails and its temperature probe: the UPS is monitored over the company network with no extra card to buy.

As many watts as volt-amperes

The SRT1500RMXLI-NC delivers 1500 W for 1500 VA: all of its apparent power is usable by servers. Double conversion recreates a pure sine wave, with less than 2 % distortion, and lets through an input of 176 to 275 V at full load, down to 100 V below 40 % load, without touching the battery.

Two outlet groups, one slot already in use

The six C13 outlets are split into two groups set separately from the screen: each one is switched on or off on its own, with a restart delay. The SmartSlot holds the supplied Network Management Card 3; the USB and serial ports, the emergency power off terminal and the external battery pack connector remain available.

A swappable battery

The 48 V / 9 Ah APCRBC155 module slides out of the UPS by its handle and recharges in about three hours. For longer runtime, the UPS automatically recognizes up to ten external battery packs. Beyond 1500 W, the SRT2200RMXLI-NC uses the same architecture at 2200 VA.

When installing, take the battery module out first: the complete UPS weighs 21 kg, the module alone 11 kg. Put it back once the UPS is fixed on its rails.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the supplied network card for?
To connect the UPS to the network, with no computer plugged into it: the Network Management Card 3 is already installed in its SmartSlot and handles environmental monitoring, with the supplied temperature probe. The USB and RS-232 ports remain available for a directly connected server.
What are the two controllable outlet groups?
Two sets of outlets set up separately, from the Configuration menu of the screen: each group is switched on or off on its own, with a restart delay shown by a flashing icon. All six C13 outlets are powered by the UPS.
Can the runtime be extended?
Yes: the UPS automatically recognizes up to ten external battery packs, connected through the dedicated connector at the back. Each added pack extends the time on battery. The internal 48 V / 9 Ah module recharges in about three hours.
Is the battery easy to replace?
Yes: the APCRBC155 module is swappable and slides out of the UPS by its handle. It weighs 11 kg and is replaced at the latest every five years or as soon as the UPS asks for it. Its service life is three to five years depending on heat and how often outages occur.
Is the UPS only for rack mounting?
It is delivered for the rack, with its rails and brackets, and takes up only 2U of height for 505 mm of depth. The manufacturer recommends removing the battery module before installation, as the whole unit weighs 21 kg, then putting it back once the UPS is secured.
What happens if the room wiring is reversed?
The UPS reports it: a site wiring fault is displayed if phase and neutral are swapped or if the ground is missing. The connection must then be corrected and confirmed with the OK button. This check protects the connected equipment from commissioning onward.
