This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Online UPS to protect a server and sensitive equipment: online double-conversion, 2000 VA / 1600 W.
Technology & protection: power is fully regenerated, continuously — your servers are never connected directly to the mains, with no transfer time. Complete protection against power cuts, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How long does the SRV2KI run on battery?
26 minutes at 400 W of consumption and 12 minutes at half load, i.e. 800 W. The two figures describe two different situations: it is your actual consumption, not the UPS's rated power, that determines how much time you will have.
Which outlets does the APC SRV2KI have?
Four C13 outlets, the format used by computer and server power cords, and a C14 input with a 1.50 m cord. There are no household sockets: make sure you have IEC cords for your machines.
What does double conversion bring on this model?
The power is continuously regenerated: sine wave output, synchronised at 50/60 Hz ± 3 Hz, with a crest factor of 3:1. The UPS takes an input of 160 to 280 V — and up to 110-285 V at half load — without your servers noticing any difference.
Does service continue if the UPS fails?
Yes, thanks to an automatic and manual internal bypass: the automatic bypass takes over on a fault, while the manual one lets you deliberately switch the load to direct mains power to work on the unit.
How long does it take to recharge the SRV2KI's battery?
4 hours for a full recharge, on a sealed lead-acid battery. Until the recharge is complete, the available runtime remains below the nominal values — worth knowing after a series of power cuts in quick succession.
What are the SRV2KI's footprint and noise level?
14.5 cm wide, 40 cm deep, 23.8 cm high, weighing 16.8 kg, in tower format. It is rated at 50 dBA: this is a fan-cooled unit, better suited to a technical room than to an office occupied all day.
What is this UPS's efficiency at full load?
88%. That is the price of double conversion: the power is continuously rectified then regenerated, which costs a few points of efficiency compared with a line-interactive UPS, but eliminates any transfer time.
How do you know the UPS has switched to battery or is overloaded?
Through a multifunction LCD console for control and status, and three distinct audible alarms: switch to battery mode, low battery threshold, and a continuous tone in the event of an overload.
What is in the box, and how do you shut down the servers cleanly?
A USB cable, an RS-232 cable for signalling, a CD with the software and the user manual. The UPS can therefore be controlled via USB or serial port straight out of the box, with no accessory to order.
How much surge energy does the SRV2KI absorb?
600 joules. It operates between 0 and 40 °C, up to 95% non-condensing humidity and 3,000 m altitude, with an IP20 rating that calls for a clean, dry room.
Is the APC Easy UPS SRV2KI new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for 2 years, covering repair or replacement. The unit is CE and EAC certified and complies with IEC 62040-1-1 and 62040-1-2; the datasheet covers all the values.
