This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

Very high-power online UPS for critical infrastructure: online double-conversion, 10 kVA / 9000 W.
Technology & protection: power is fully regenerated, continuously — equipment never touches the mains, with zero transfer time. Maximum protection against power cuts, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise.
Power: 10 kVA for 9000 W of usable power (power factor of 0.9) — almost all of the rated power available in watts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Are batteries included with the Aster 10KT?
No: the UPS arrives with no batteries installed. You need to provide 16 lead-acid batteries, 12 V each, in 7 Ah or 9 Ah, to be ordered separately. This is the first point to settle: without them, the unit cannot provide any backup.
How long does the Aster 10KT run once fitted with batteries?
9 minutes at 50% load and 23 minutes at 25% with its 16 internal batteries. With an additional battery cabinet, this rises to 23 minutes at half load and 60 minutes at 25% — so the runtime is chosen at the time of purchase.
How does the Aster 10KT connect to the installation?
To a terminal block, at both output and input: there are no outlets on the unit. It is fixed wiring, to be entrusted to an electrician, with a dedicated circuit sized for 10 kVA to be prepared at the distribution board.
Why do 10 kVA only give 9000 W?
The power factor is 0.9: 10,000 × 0.9 = 9000 W actually available. It is this figure in watts that must be compared with the combined consumption of the racks, storage and network equipment to be protected.
Can the Aster 10KT be used behind a generator?
Yes, generator compatibility is stated, and the UPS also offers cold start: it can be switched on from the battery with no mains power present. Its accepted input range is 80 to 300 V.
Does service continue if the UPS fails?
Yes, an internal bypass keeps the equipment powered. Conversely, an EPO function lets you shut everything down in one go in an emergency, and the UPS recharges automatically when mains power returns.
What footprint and weight for the Aster 10KT?
196 × 702 × 412 mm in tower format, for 21.97 kg without batteries. Pay attention to that last point: the 16 lead-acid batteries to be added weigh far more than the UPS itself, and completely change the installation calculation.
What efficiency does the Aster 10KT reach, and is it noisy?
96% or more in ECO mode, with the battery fully charged. The noise level stays below 55 dB: it is a fan-cooled unit, to be kept in a technical room rather than a work area.
How can the Aster 10KT be monitored and the servers shut down automatically?
Through the USB HID and RS-232 ports, with the Power Master software, and through an SNMP port intended for an optional monitoring card. An EPO contact completes the set-up for emergency shutdown.
Can two Aster 10KT units be combined to double the power?
No, parallel operation is not supported on this model. For more power, you need to move up to a higher-capacity UPS; for more runtime, the additional battery cabinet does the job.
Is the nJoy Aster 10KT UPS new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for a period of 3 years. It delivers a pure sine wave and displays its status on a multifunction colour LCD screen. The datasheet details the rest.
