Frequently asked questions about this product

Do you need to install a driver to use the PC 8 USB?
No: the sound card is built into the headset. Connect it to a USB port on your PC or Mac and you can make calls straight away, without going through the system settings.
Can you adjust the volume without touching the computer's settings?
Yes, a volume and mic mute control is built into the cable: you adjust it with your finger, without opening a menu or hunting for the system slider in the middle of a conversation.
At 84 g, can this headset be worn for hours without tiring you?
That is its main selling point: an ultra-light headband, on-ear, weighing 84 g which, according to EPOS, you forget you are wearing even after hours of use. It is one of the lightest in the category.
Does the microphone save you from having to raise your voice?
Yes: the unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone makes your voice perfectly intelligible without you needing to raise your voice. It picks up what comes from the front and rejects what comes from the sides.
Is this headset also suitable for music or gaming?
Yes. EPOS states Hi-Fi stereo sound with two ear cups, which opens it up to music listening and gaming as well as internet telephony. It is Sennheiser sound quality at an entry-level price.
Is this entry-level headset sturdy?
EPOS describes it as designed and made from robust materials, almost unbreakable. Its cable is 2 m long, enough to reach a tower on the floor without pulling on the cord.
Is this EPOS Sennheiser PC 8 USB new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 2 years on this model, the same period the manufacturer also states under its international warranty.
