Frequently asked questions about this product

How long does the EPOS Adapt 560 II last on calls?
Up to 41 hours of talk time claimed, with a full recharge in 3 h 30. On standby, the stated battery life exceeds 1,900 hours, i.e. more than two months sitting on a desk.
Do you need to pair the headset with the computer?
No, a USB Bluetooth dongle is included: you plug it in and the headset is recognised. Your smartphone, meanwhile, connects directly over Bluetooth 5.0, within a range of about 25 m.
How many microphones does the Adapt 560 II have?
Six in total: 2 state-of-the-art microphones for voice pickup on the foldable boom, and 4 microphones dedicated to active noise cancellation. So the two functions do not serve the same person.
What is the difference between active noise cancellation and the ear cushions' isolation?
Hybrid ANC processes ambient noise electronically, while the soft ear cushions reduce it through simple physical isolation. The two work together on this headset, and that is what lets you concentrate in a genuinely noisy environment.
Is the headset comfortable to wear for several hours?
EPOS specifies a low-impact headband and softer ear cushions than on the previous generation, precisely to eliminate pressure points. The headset is on-ear, resting on the ear, and weighs 232 g.
Can the mic boom be tucked away when you are not on a call?
Yes, it is sleek and foldable: once stowed, the headset becomes a discreet pair of headphones for music or the commute. That is what lets it move from the office to travel without changing its look.
Which platforms does the Adapt 560 II work with?
It is Microsoft Teams certified and listed as compatible with Zoom, Google Meet, Google Voice, Webex by Cisco, Cisco Jabber, Avaya, Mitel, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Works With Chromebook.
