Why choose 512 GB on a Galaxy S25?
Because the phone shoots in 8K, by far the most space-hungry format it produces. For everyday use — photos, apps, messaging — 256 GB is enough; regular video shooting justifies the higher capacity.
Is the Galaxy S25 Wi-Fi 7 compatible?
Yes: 802.11be on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, with 320 MHz channels and 4096-QAM. Access to the 6 GHz band, the least congested, is what keeps throughput up when many devices are transmitting at the same time. Bluetooth is version 5.4.
Does the Galaxy S25's front camera focus?
Yes, it has autofocus, which not every phone does. It makes a real difference for group selfies and video calls, where the fixed focus of entry-level sensors quickly shows its limits.
How good is the Galaxy S25's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy?
It is an octa-core chip whose fast cores reach 4.47 GHz — a peak frequency rarely seen on mobile — backed by a second tier at 3.5 GHz. The “for Galaxy” version is specific to these phones.
Does the Galaxy S25 support eSIM?
Yes, in three configurations: two physical nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. The second line is activated remotely, without opening the tray — handy for keeping a work number separate from a personal one.
Does the Galaxy S25 shoot 8K despite its compact size?
Yes, video goes up to 8K. The compact size costs nothing in recording terms: it is the same resolution as on the largest models in the range, and the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port keeps up when offloading the files.
How many years of updates will the Galaxy S25 get?
Seven years of Android updates and security patches. It is the longest support period in the range, and it matters as much for day-to-day security as for the device's value when you come to resell it.
