What does the Odyssey Neo G9's Mini-LED backlight bring?
Far finer zone-by-zone light control than a conventional backlight: this is what makes VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification possible, with a typical brightness of 450 cd/m² and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, for very high-contrast HDR scenes.
Can a 49-inch 32:9 monitor replace two QHD monitors?
Its panel displays 5120 x 1440 pixels: exactly the area of two 27-inch QHD monitors side by side, with no bezel in the middle. The 1000R curvature, the most pronounced on the market, keeps the far edges at a constant viewing distance.
What video inputs does the Odyssey Neo G9 G95C offer?
One DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.1 ports, with a built-in USB hub. The 1.5 m DisplayPort cable and the USB 3.0 cable are included in the box.
What is the CoreSync lighting on this Samsung monitor for?
It projects light matching the colours on screen onto the back of the monitor, which visually extends the image onto the wall. It is an ambience feature, with no effect on display quality.
Is the Odyssey Neo G9 stand height-adjustable?
Yes: 120 mm of height travel, tilt from -2° to +11° and ±15° swivel. The tilt range is deliberately limited on a panel of this size; allow for 15.6 kg with the stand, 10.6 kg without.
How much power does the Odyssey Neo G9 G95C use?
45 W in typical use and up to 180 W maximum: the trade-off for a 49-inch 240 Hz panel certified DisplayHDR 1000. Allow for 1147.6 mm of width and a desk that can bear 15.6 kg.
