Yes to both: it is certified G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium. The monitor's refresh rate then matches the frame rate produced by the graphics card, which eliminates tearing and stuttering when it varies during a game.
What does the 1 ms GtG response time advertised on the G40B mean?
It corresponds to an average between 1.00 and 1.99 ms, rounded, measured grey-to-grey — the time a pixel takes to change from one shade of grey to another. This figure requires Extreme mode to be enabled in the monitor's settings.
Which video inputs does the Odyssey G4 G40B offer?
Two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2, with a headphone jack. A PC and a console can therefore stay connected at the same time. There is no USB-C and no VGA: from a laptop with a USB-C output, you will need an adapter to HDMI or DisplayPort.
Does the Odyssey G4 G40B monitor have speakers?
