1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is a charger supplied with this Kensington hub?
No: the 100 W mains charger is optional and sold separately. The hub passes up to 85 W to the computer from the USB-C power supply you connect to it.
Is my computer compatible with this UH1400P hub?
Two requirements: its USB-C port must support Power Delivery for charging, and DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video. The hub is then specified for Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS and Android.
Does this Kensington hub support a 4K monitor at 60 Hz?
Yes: its HDMI 2.0 output drives one external monitor at 4K 60 Hz. The 60 Hz makes the difference over a working day, whereas 30 Hz makes the mouse jerky.
Does this hub read camera memory cards?
Yes: it has built-in SD and microSD 3.0 UHS-I readers. Photos transfer without an external reader, with the hub and cards on the same cable.
Can I use this hub with a Samsung phone in DeX mode?
Yes, with the Galaxy S8, Note 8, S9, Note 9, S10 and later models, running at least Android 9 and One UI 1.0. Note: in DeX, the external monitor is limited to HD+, Full HD or WQHD in 16:9, not 4K.
How many USB ports does this 8-in-1 hub provide?
Three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one of which charges at 5 V / 1.5 A, and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 reserved for pass-through power. The charging port is the one to keep for your phone.
Does this hub sit right up against the laptop?
No: its 25 cm cable lets you place the unit a little away, beside the computer rather than against it. Its anodised aluminium casing stands up to being carried around in a laptop bag.
Is this Kensington UH1400P hub new?
Yes, it is a new Kensington product, reference K33820WW, an 8-in-1 USB-C mobile hub that is plug and play — nothing to download or install. The invoice serves as the warranty document. Datasheet: Kensington UH1400P.
