What power connector does the RTX 5070 GAMING TRIO OC require?
A 16-pin connector, not the usual 8-pin, with a 650 W power supply recommended for the whole system. Make sure your power supply has this cable or the matching adapter before ordering.
How much room does this triple-fan RTX 5070 take up?
338 × 140 × 50 mm, weighing 1,187 g. This is a large card: at 33.8 cm long it rules out many compact cases, and its 50 mm thickness goes beyond a strict dual-slot footprint. Measure the available depth and count the free slots below the graphics slot.
How does it differ from the RTX 5070 VENTUS 2X in the catalogue?
In cooling and size. This GAMING TRIO OC has three fans and a boost clock of 2,610 MHz, against two fans and 2,542 MHz on the VENTUS 2X OC, which is 10 cm shorter. Same graphics processor, same memory.
12 GB of GDDR7 at 28 Gbps: what is it for?
For 1440p gaming and for creative work. The card has 6,144 CUDA cores based on the Blackwell architecture, and the 12 GB leave headroom for detailed textures, video editing and 3D rendering, where 8 GB starts to become a constraint.
How many monitors can be connected, and to which ports?
Four monitors, via three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b output — the latter going up to 4K at 480 Hz or 8K at 120 Hz with DSC compression. G-SYNC technology is supported for display synchronisation.
Do the three fans run all the time?
No: Zero Frozr stops them completely under light load and restarts them when the temperature rises again. In games, the Tri Frozr 4 system takes over with its nickel-plated copper baseplate, square heat pipes and Wave Curved 4.0 profiled fins.
Are the fans on this card built to last?
MSI mounts them on two ball bearings per fan, a choice made to withstand long, repeated gaming sessions, whereas a sleeve bearing wears out faster. The Stormforce fans complete the setup with a blade profile designed for air pressure.
Is the card new and under warranty?
Yes, new and covered for 1 year, with your invoice serving as the warranty document. The exact reference is 912-V532-029; all the specifications are in the MSI technical documentation.
