1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the ViewSonic XG2409 compatible with G-Sync and FreeSync?
Yes to both: AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility are stated, over a vertical range of 48 to 180 Hz. The monitor's refresh rate then follows the graphics card's frame rate, which eliminates screen tearing.
What video inputs does the XG2409 offer?
Two HDMI 1.4 ports and one DisplayPort, with a 3.5 mm audio output. The HDMI cable is supplied in the box: a console and a PC can stay connected at the same time.
Does the XG2409's stand allow portrait mode?
Yes: 130 mm of height adjustment, 90° pivot for portrait, tilt from -5° to +22° and 90° swivel in either direction. Full ergonomics, rare on a 24-inch gaming monitor.
Does the XG2409 need an external power supply?
Yes: an AC adapter comes with the monitor, with a three-pin cord. Make room for this brick under the desk. Typical power consumption is 24 W, 28 W at maximum, dropping to 17 W in power-saving mode.
How good are the ViewSonic XG2409's colours?
Its IPS panel covers 104% of the sRGB colour space, with 250 cd/m², a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and HDR10 certification, which widens the contrast range on compatible content.
Can the XG2409 be mounted on a monitor arm?
Yes, it accepts VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting. Without its stand, the panel weighs only 2.8 kg compared with 4.8 kg with the stand, and its thickness drops to 43.5 mm — enough to free up the whole desktop.
What does the XG2409's 1 ms MPRT response time mean?
MPRT measures the motion blur perceived on a moving image, a different scale from grey-to-grey. Combined with 180 Hz, it aims to keep fast-moving objects sharp, with no trail behind them.
Is the ViewSonic XG2409 monitor new and under warranty?
Yes: new, in its original packaging, with a one-year warranty; your invoice serves as the warranty document. The box contains the monitor, the AC adapter, the three-pin plug and an HDMI cable.
