Does the TUF VG27VQM1B's 280 Hz work over HDMI?
No: on the two HDMI 2.0 inputs, the vertical range stops at 240 Hz. 280 Hz is reached over DisplayPort 1.2, whose range covers 48 to 280 Hz. The choice of cable therefore has a direct effect on the refresh rate achieved.
What does the curved Fast VA panel of the VG27VQM1B bring?
A contrast ratio of 4000:1, four times that of a typical IPS panel, on a 1500R curve that brings the edges of the picture towards your eyes. Coverage reaches 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space, with 250 cd/m² brightness.
What is this Asus monitor's ELMB technology?
Extreme Low Motion Blur: it reduces the ghosting perceived behind moving objects by controlling the backlight, which gives the stated 1 ms grey-to-grey response time. It is enabled from the monitor's menu.
How do I get sound with the TUF VG27VQM1B?
