Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • On-screen image : the content visible on the screen is a composite: it represents neither the real picture quality nor any content supplied with the product.
  • Stand and mount : the shape of the stand changes between versions; wall mounts, arms and ceiling fixings are not included unless stated.
  • Connectors and sound : the number of HDMI, DisplayPort and USB ports, and the presence of speakers, a tuner or a network port, are read in the specifications.
  • Panel : bezels, curved format, touch, matte or glossy finish and refresh rate cannot be judged from a photo.
  • Accessories : remote control, cables, 3D glasses and projection screen are supplied only if the specifications say so.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the TUF VG27VQM1B's 280 Hz work over HDMI?
No: on the two HDMI 2.0 inputs, the vertical range stops at 240 Hz. 280 Hz is reached over DisplayPort 1.2, whose range covers 48 to 280 Hz. The choice of cable therefore has a direct effect on the refresh rate achieved.
What does the curved Fast VA panel of the VG27VQM1B bring?
A contrast ratio of 4000:1, four times that of a typical IPS panel, on a 1500R curve that brings the edges of the picture towards your eyes. Coverage reaches 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space, with 250 cd/m² brightness.
What is this Asus monitor's ELMB technology?
Extreme Low Motion Blur: it reduces the ghosting perceived behind moving objects by controlling the backlight, which gives the stated 1 ms grey-to-grey response time. It is enabled from the monitor's menu.
How do I get sound with the TUF VG27VQM1B?
Through the headphone jack on the monitor: the sound carried over HDMI or DisplayPort comes out there directly, within easy reach, without reaching round the tower to swap earphones.
What gaming aids does the VG27VQM1B offer?
GamePlus displays a crosshair and a timer, Shadow Boost brightens dark areas without overexposing the rest, GameVisual offers presets by type of game, Trace Free adjusts responsiveness and GameFast Input Technology reduces display latency.
Is the VG27VQM1B's stand height-adjustable?
No: only the tilt is adjustable, from -5° to +23°, with no height adjustment or rotation to portrait mode. The monitor weighs 4.9 kg with its stand, 4.2 kg without, and takes up 61 cm in width and 19.3 cm in depth.
Is the VG27VQM1B compatible with AMD graphics cards?
It is AMD FreeSync Premium certified and supports adaptive sync: the monitor's refresh rate follows the graphics card's frame rate, which eliminates screen tearing when it varies. HDCP 2.2 is also supported, for protected content.
Does this gaming monitor strain the eyes over long sessions?
It features a blue light filter and Asus flicker-free technology, for extended sessions. Its power consumption stays below 23 W, which is modest for a curved 27-inch monitor at 280 Hz.
Is the Asus TUF VG27VQM1B monitor new and under warranty?
Yes: a new product, in its original packaging, with a one-year warranty. Your invoice serves as the warranty document; keep it with the box for any service request.
