Those who shoot in ProRes RAW 4K at 120 fps without wanting to offload the device after every session. It is the only use that really fills such a capacity — for photos and apps, 256 GB remains comfortable.

It is a physical button dedicated to taking pictures: it opens the camera and gives access to its settings without going through the touchscreen — a real convenience when you take photos often, or with one hand.

Up to 4x, thanks to its 48 MP periscope telephoto. Beyond that, and up to 8x, the magnification becomes digital. The other two cameras — the Fusion wide-angle and the ultra-wide — are also 48 MP.
Is the iPhone 17 Pro Max's screen readable in direct sunlight?
Its 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel reaches 3,000 nits in HDR, a level rarely achieved. It features ProMotion 120 Hz, stays on in standby thanks to the always-on mode, and includes the Dynamic Island.

Filming in 4K at 120 frames per second in a raw format that keeps full processing latitude for editing: exposure, white balance and colour curve can still be adjusted after the shot. Dolby Vision is also supported.
