What does the 1800R curve of this 27-inch Samsung monitor bring?
It brings the edges of the image towards your line of sight, which heightens immersion on a large panel without visibly distorting straight lines. The VA contrast ratio of 3000:1 also delivers far deeper blacks than an IPS panel.
Which video inputs does the Essential S3 S36GD 27-inch offer?
One HDMI 1.4 input and one VGA input. Both cables are included — HDMI and D-Sub — along with the 1.5 m power cable: the monitor works straight out of the box, whatever output your computer has.
Does 100 Hz make any difference on an office monitor?
Yes: at 100 Hz, scrolling through a web page or a spreadsheet and cursor movements are much sharper than at 60 Hz, which is less tiring for the eyes. Response time is rated at 4 ms grey-to-grey.
