The Thump210XT is the compact active speaker of the Thump series in its XT version: a 10-inch woofer, a 1-inch compression driver, two class D amplifiers, and around them the feedback eliminator, automatic music ducking, Bluetooth and a control app.

Feedback handled before it howls

Switched on with one button, the feedback eliminator continuously watches the channel 1 microphone. As soon as a frequency starts to ring, it places a notch filter on it, and can set up to six; a filter already in place strengthens its action in three steps if the feedback returns on its frequency. It is the tool for events without a sound engineer.

The music fades when someone speaks

With Music Ducking, the music on channel 2 drops by itself as soon as a signal reaches the channel 1 microphone, then returns to its level when the announcement is over. No more riding the volume during a speech or an evening announcement.

A rear panel with no surprises

Channel 1 takes a microphone or a line source, chosen with a selector. Channel 2, at line level, comes with a 3.5 mm mini-jack input for a phone or a computer, and Bluetooth is added on top. The XLR Thru output sends both channels to a second speaker. Each function has its own button and LED.

Four sounds for four uses

The Voicing Modes button cycles through four settings: Music keeps the balance of already-mixed music even at high volume, Live lightens the upper bass and clarifies voices, Club boosts the bass and brightens the highs for DJs, Monitor corrects the sound of a speaker lying on the floor as a monitor. The outdoor mode makes up for what the open air takes away from the sound of a room.

Two speakers, one phone

Two Thump210XT speakers link without a cable: a long press on Link, a short press on the second one, and the pair then re-forms at every power-on. They play in stereo by default; the Thump Connect 2 app also offers zone mode, the same signal on both sides, and adjusts levels, mute and EQ remotely. Compared with the Thump210, this is what changes: same cabinet, plus the app, the wireless link, the voicing modes and flying.

On the floor, on a stand or flown

Laid on its angled side, it tilts at 40° towards the musician and becomes a stage monitor. Upright, it mounts on a stand via the socket under the cabinet. For a fixed installation, its M10 rigging points take forged M10 × 1.5 × 20 mm eyebolts: fly it from there, never by the handles.

To link two Thump210XT, only one phone must be connected over Bluetooth: if each speaker is paired with a different phone, they stay independent and cannot be linked.
