This small transmitter plugs into the laptop and sends its screen, wirelessly and up to 4K, to a Yealink MeetingBoard or RoomCast. No software to install, no HDMI cable to run across the table.

Encoding happens in the transmitter
The PA20 carries its own software and a hardware encoding chip: nothing needs installing on the computer and its processor is not put to work. It plugs into a full-featured USB-C port or, with the supplied adapter, into a USB-A port. The 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi 6 module, on 2.4 or 5 GHz, carries the image at up to 4K at 30 fps with low latency, under AES and WPA2-PSK encryption.

Each participant keeps their transmitter: a press of the START/STOP button takes or hands back control. The room display can show up to four streams at the same time, in duplicated or extended desktop, with annotation and remote control. Three LEDs show 4K sharing, connection status and any error.

Do you need to install software to use the PA20?
No: the PA20 embeds its own software and encodes the video itself. You plug it into the computer's USB-C port, or into a USB-A port with the supplied adapter, then press its button to present. The computer's processor is not used.
Which Yealink displays does the PA20 work with?
With Yealink MeetingBoard displays and the RoomCast presentation system, which pair it as a sharing pod and display the screen of the computer it is plugged into.
Does the PA20 work on a Mac?
Yes: it is compatible with macOS 10.10 and later as well as Windows 10 and 11. Windows 7 and 8 are no longer supported from firmware 270.357.0.5 onwards. On a recent Mac, it plugs straight into USB-C.
Can several people present at the same time?
Yes: the room display can show up to four simultaneous content streams, one per pod. Each presenter keeps their PA20 plugged in and takes over with the START/STOP button.
What wireless connection and range does the PA20 use?
The PA20 embeds a dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 2x2 MIMO module, which sends the image at up to 4K at 30 fps with low latency. The link is protected by WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK and AES encryption. It draws 2.2 W from the computer's USB port.
