This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many people is the Logitech GROUP system designed for?
14 to 20 participants around a single table. That is the room size it targets: below that, a more compact system is enough; beyond it, you need to add the expansion microphones.
How far do the Logitech GROUP microphones pick up?
Across a 6-metre diameter around the speakerphone, extended to 8.5 metres with the expansion microphones — an optional accessory, sold as a pair.
Do the expansion microphones need any configuration?
No: the microphones are detected automatically; you simply connect them to the speakerphone. No software or settings are needed to extend the pickup area.
Do you need to install software to use the Logitech GROUP?
No. The USB connection is plug-and-play: you connect a PC or Mac and the system works with whichever video conferencing application is already installed.
How long are the Logitech GROUP cables?
Two 5-metre cables connect the speakerphone and the camera to the hub, and a 3-metre cable connects the hub to the computer. The camera can therefore be placed well away from the computer running the meeting.
Does the GROUP camera's zoom degrade the image?
No, it is a lossless 10x zoom in HD: detail stays sharp on a whiteboard or an object held up at the far end of the table, where an ordinary digital zoom would pixelate.
What is the field of view of the Logitech GROUP camera?
90°, with 260° motorised pan and 130° tilt. The camera therefore covers far more than its fixed field alone, from the remote control or from the base.
Can you make a call from a phone with the GROUP?
Yes: the speakerphone connects over Bluetooth, or simply by tapping via NFC. The system then acts as a room speakerphone for a regular audio call.
Where can the Logitech GROUP camera be installed?
On the table or on the wall, with the supplied mounting hardware, or on a stand: the base has a standard tripod thread.
What does the speakerphone display show?
The caller ID and the call duration, on an LCD screen. Indicator lights also show mute, hold and Bluetooth pairing.
Where is the Logitech GROUP remote control stored?
In the base itself: it docks into it when not in use. This keeps the remote from getting lost at the back of a meeting room drawer.
Which platforms is the Logitech GROUP certified for?
It is optimised for Microsoft Lync 2013, Skype for Business certified and compatible with Cisco Jabber and WebEx. It also works with most video conferencing applications through its USB connection.
Can the GROUP system be secured against theft?
Yes, the camera has a Kensington security slot: a standard anti-theft cable attaches to it, which matters in a meeting room open to visitors.
