1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How much does this expansion increase the MeetUp's microphone range?
It extends the audio range from 2.4 m to 3.7 m around the system. Participants sitting at the end of the table or in a second row are then within the pickup area — the addition that makes all the difference in long rooms.
Is this microphone already supplied with the Logitech MeetUp?
No, it is an optional accessory. The MeetUp box contains the camera/soundbar, the remote control, the AC adapter, the 5 m USB cable and the wall mount; the 989-000405 expansion mic is bought separately.
Does it work on its own, without a MeetUp camera?
It connects to the Logitech MeetUp, extending its audio pickup. Reference 989-000405 is the expansion mic on its own, not to be confused with the complete MeetUp system (960-001102): check that the room is already equipped with one before ordering.
What is the mute control on the microphone for?
It cuts audio pickup with a single touch, from the table, without going through the video conferencing software. The button is on the microphone itself, so it is within reach of the participants furthest from the camera.
The MeetUp already has three microphones: when should you add this one?
The MeetUp has three omnidirectional beamforming microphones with noise and echo reduction, optimised for small rooms. The expansion takes over as soon as the room gets longer or participants sit more than 2.4 m away.
Do you need to install software for this additional microphone to be recognised?
No. The MeetUp setup is USB plug-and-play on PC, Mac and Chrome devices, with no additional software, and works with the usual video conferencing applications — the system is Skype for Business certified and compatible with Cisco Jabber. An optional settings application is still available for pan, tilt and zoom.
Is this 989-000405 expansion microphone new and under warranty?
Yes: a new and genuine Logitech accessory, reference 989-000405 (EAN 097855131171), supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The datasheet (PDF) details the MeetUp system it connects to.
