This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this mic pod work with the standalone Rally USB camera?
No. Rally mic pods are not compatible with the standalone Rally USB camera. They are used with the Rally and Rally Plus systems, as well as with the Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini video bars.
How many mic pods can I daisy-chain on my system?
Seven at most on a Rally (one pod already supplied with the system), as on a Rally Plus (two supplied). On the video bars, the limit drops to 4 pods for the Rally Bar and 3 for the Rally Bar Mini, in addition to their built-in microphones.
What exactly is in the Rally Mic Pod box?
The Rally mic pod in a graphite finish (reference 989-000430), which measures 21 mm high by 102 × 102 mm, and its documentation. The table mount and the ceiling mount are accessories sold separately: budget for them if you want to hide the cables.
How long is the cable, and can it be extended?
The pod has a built-in 2.95 m captive cable with a 12-pin connector. To go further, the Rally 10 m extension cable (952-000047) fits in between: a Rally or Rally Plus system accepts one, and a Rally Bar up to two, i.e. 20 metres in total.
How far away does this microphone pick up voices?
Its pickup range is 4.5 m. It contains four omnidirectional microphones forming eight acoustic beams, with a frequency response of 90 Hz to 16 kHz and a rate of 48 kHz — a bandwidth tailored to conversation.
How does it deal with echo, air conditioning and table noise?
Through three built-in processes: acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), voice activity detection and AI-filter noise suppression. On top of that come automatic voice level adjustment and reduction of vibrations transmitted through the table.
Can it be mounted on any meeting table?
The Rally mic pod mount, sold separately, requires a table thickness of 20 to 50 mm and a cable hole of 25 to 65 mm. Measure these two dimensions before ordering; otherwise, there is the ceiling mount, designed for rooms with high ceilings.
Can several microphones be laid out in a star rather than daisy-chained?
Yes, with the Rally Mic Pod Hub (939-001647): its three 12-pin connectors accept mic pods or other hubs, and it has its own 2.95 m captive cable. The result: fewer cables running across the table.
Can these microphones be managed from an administration tool?
Yes. Logitech Sync supports device management for the Rally mic pod, the Rally Mic Pod Hub and the Rally speaker accessories. For users, muting remains a touch control with a colour LED indicator, right on the pod.
Is this Logitech Rally Mic Pod microphone new and under warranty?
Yes: a new Logitech accessory, reference 989-000430, in its original packaging, with an invoice that serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Dimensions, connectivity and daisy-chaining limits are given in the Rally accessories datasheet (PDF).
