1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can I connect a 3.5-inch external hard drive to it?
Yes, but power it: for power-hungry peripherals such as a 3.5-inch hard drive, it is advisable to use the 5V/2A DC port with an external 5 V power supply. This power supply is not included in the package.
Does it work with an Android tablet, a Nintendo Switch or a Xiaomi Mi Box?
Switch, Mi Box S and Mi Box 3: yes. However, it is not compatible with Android, Windows RT or the Wii and Wii U consoles. On the computer side, compatibility covers Windows XP to Windows 11, macOS 10.6 and later, iPadOS and Linux (kernels 2.6 and 3.x).
Do I need to install a driver before I can use it?
Yes: a driver for your system must be downloaded, following the instructions supplied with the hub. Allow for this step when you first set it up.
Is the RJ45 port really gigabit, and does it handle older networks?
Yes: the RJ45 port runs at 1000 / 100 / 10 Mbps and handles both full-duplex and half-duplex, with crossover detection, automatic correction (Auto MDIX) and backpressure routing. IPv4 and IPv6 protocols as well as 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX networks are supported.
Can I wake the computer remotely over the network with this hub?
Yes, Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is among the functions supported by its Ethernet adapter, alongside full-duplex, half-duplex and crossover detection. You can start a machine from the local network without physically switching it on.
Can I connect old USB 2.0 flash drives to its three ports?
Yes: the three USB 3.0 ports reach 5 Gbps — ten times the speed of USB 2.0 — and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. USB flash drives, card readers, hard drives and tablets can all be connected.
Can it restore a wired connection to a computer whose network port no longer works?
That is one of its main uses: it adds a gigabit RJ45 port and three USB 3.0 ports from a single USB port. It replaces a faulty Ethernet port on a computer, or provides a more stable wired connection to a Mi Box S.
How much space does it take up on a desk, and how can I tell it is working?
It measures 8.5 × 4 × 2 cm in a plastic casing: small enough to leave permanently on the desk or slip into a laptop bag. An LED indicator shows its operating status, so you can check at a glance that the hub is active.
Is this Ugreen 20265 hub new and under warranty?
Yes: a new and genuine Ugreen hub, reference 20265, EAN code 6957303822652, covered by a 1-year warranty. The purchase invoice serves as the warranty document; keep it for the whole of that period.
