Why choose the mono version of the Evolve2 65?
Because it leaves one ear free: you stay reachable without cutting yourself off from the office, which matters at reception or in a team where people call out to each other. It is stated at 99 g on the head, compared with 176 g for the stereo version.
What is the battery life of this Evolve2 65 UC Mono?
24 h of talk time and up to 37 h of music playback: two separate figures. A full charge takes 1 h 30 min, and 15 minutes of fast charging is enough to get going again for several hours.
Can the mic boom be removed on this model?
It is stated to be detachable and foldable, and carries three microphones working over 100 Hz – 8,000 Hz. Folded along the headband, it lets the headset serve as a plain listening headset.
How does the headset connect to the computer and the phone?
Through a pre-paired USB-A adapter, included: you plug it in and the headset is recognised. The smartphone connects alongside it — two devices stay connected at the same time, with a range of up to 30 m.
Does this headset block out ambient noise?
Through contact alone: its on-ear memory foam ear cushion rests on the ear and reduces noise without any electronic processing. On a mono version, the other ear is by definition left open to the room.
Can the busylight be seen from every angle?
Yes, it is visible from every angle and shows that you are on a call, including to colleagues coming up behind you. A charging indicator completes the headset's lights.
Does this headset's voice guidance speak French?
The voice guidance language stated for this model is English: pairing and call status announcements are heard in that language. The headset also accepts voice commands.
