Frequently asked questions about this product

How does the noise cancellation on this Evolve2 65 Flex work?
It is hybrid: microphones are placed inside and outside the ear cushions to measure the noise on both sides and counter it. Conversely, HearThrough mode lets outside sounds in.
What is the real-world battery life of this headset with ANC on?
15 h of talk time with noise cancellation and the busylight switched on, compared with 20 h without them. Go by the first figure: that is what a real workstation setup looks like.
Can this headset be charged wirelessly?
Yes, it is compatible with wireless (induction) charging: placed on a suitable charger, it tops up without you plugging anything in. Fast charging is also stated.
Why is this headset called “Flex”?
Because its design is foldable and compact: it takes up noticeably less room in a bag, at just 136 g, and a storage pouch is supplied.
How does the mic boom pick up your voice?
It is retractable and uses multi-microphone Jabra ClearVoice technology with beamforming: the mics combine their signals to target the direction of your voice and reject everything else.
How many devices can the headset handle at the same time?
Two, with the Jabra Link 380 adapter on the computer side and a direct link on the mobile side, with up to 30 m of range over Bluetooth 5.2.
Which platforms is this headset compatible with?
Jabra lists Cisco, Avaya, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet and Alcatel-Lucent. This is the UC variant, optimised for meeting tools across the board rather than for just one.
Does the headband stay comfortable over time?
It uses Jabra Air Comfort technology, made of perforated foam, designed to ease the pressure on your ears. That is what lets a headset with ANC last the day without your ears overheating.
Can the busylight be seen from behind?
Yes, it is visible through 360°: colleagues can tell from a distance, even from behind, that you are on a call.
Is this Evolve2 65 Flex UC new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its Jabra packaging, Link 380 adapter and pouch included. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year. Its speakers measure 28 mm, and settings are managed through Jabra Direct.
