This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many hours of listening do the JBL Tune 520BT headphones give per charge?
Up to 57 hours over Bluetooth, from a 450 mAh battery that fills up in 2 hours with the USB-C cable. At one hour of commuting a day, that leaves nearly two months between charges.
Is five minutes of charging enough before you head out?
Yes: 5 minutes give you 3 hours of music. It is the quick top-up for when the headphones have run flat, while you finish packing your bag, until a full 2-hour recharge.
What does on-ear mean for the comfort of the Tune 520BT?
That the ear cushions sit on the ear instead of surrounding it: the headphones stay compact and light, at 157 g, with soft ear cushions and a padded headband. On the other hand, the ear is not surrounded, so isolation remains moderate.
Do these headphones fold to fit in a backpack?
Yes, they fold flat: the earcups swivel in line with the headband and the headphones lie flat. At 157 g, they slip into a backpack pocket without taking up the space of over-ear headphones.
What is in the box of the blue JBL Tune 520BT?
Four items: the headphones, a USB-C charging cable, a warranty booklet and a quick start guide. The charging cable is indeed included, which is not the case for every model in the range.
Can you adjust the equaliser on the Tune 520BT?
Yes, the free JBL Headphones app gives access to the equaliser and its presets. Voice prompts, in your language, announce the feature activated: you know which mode you are in without looking at the screen.
Does the Tune 520BT actively reduce bus noise?
No, it has no active noise cancelling. The design sits on the ear and the only attenuation comes from the ear cushions. In a noisy environment, you compensate with the volume, which also accounts for the long battery life claimed.
How are calls and volume managed on these headphones?
With buttons on the earcup: answer, adjust the volume, skip tracks. The Voice Aware feature plays your own voice back to you during the call, which stops you talking too loudly without realising.
Can you call up Siri or Google Assistant from the headphones?
Yes, a press on the multifunction button wakes the phone's assistant, Siri as well as Hey Google. The phone can stay in your pocket or bag: the command comes from the headphones.
Are the blue JBL Tune 520BT headphones new and under warranty?
