This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How long do the Marshall Minor IV last?
Up to 7 h with the earbuds alone, and more than 30 h in total including the case. Simply put them back in it between listening sessions to top them up: the case does the work over a full day.
Does the Minor IV case support wireless charging?
Yes, inductive charging is supported: you place the case on a charging pad and off you go, with no cable to look for. All the more welcome as it avoids wearing out the charging connector over the months.
Does the music stop when you take out an earbud?
Yes. Each earbud has a sensor that detects whether it is being worn: taking out an earbud pauses playback, putting it back in resumes it. Taking out both during a call puts it on hold, and earbuds left on a desk go into standby on their own.
Can you adjust the volume from the earbuds?
Yes: a long press on the right earbud turns the volume up, a long press on the left one turns it down. These two controls can be swapped in the Marshall Bluetooth app for those who prefer it the other way round.
Can they be connected to a phone and a computer at the same time?
Yes, the multipoint connection handles two devices simultaneously. The Minor IV also keep up to 8 paired devices in memory and reconnect automatically to the last one used as soon as it is in range.
Is the Marshall app required?
No, the Minor IV can be used without it. The Marshall Bluetooth app gives access to additional features: equaliser settings, battery preservation and updates to the earbuds' software.
What does battery preservation mean on the Minor IV?
It is an app setting that sets charging limits — temperature, maximum charge level, charging speed. By avoiding the conditions that wear out a lithium battery, it slows down its ageing and extends the useful life of the earbuds.
Can you change the EQ without using your phone?
Yes: a press and hold switches between the Marshall signature sound and a preset of your choice, set up beforehand in the Marshall Bluetooth app. That way you can alternate between two profiles, for example one for music and one for podcasts.
How do you pair the Minor IV with a new device?
Place the earbuds in the case with the lid open, then hold down the button on the underside of the case until the light slowly flashes blue. All that is left is to select MINOR IV in the device's Bluetooth list.
What does Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility bring?
Three stated benefits: better audio quality, longer streaming range and improved audio-video sync — the last point mattering mainly for video. It is a technology built to last, which devices are gradually adopting.
Are the Minor IV comfortable for long listening sessions?
The earbud body and the ear piece have been angled to better follow the angle of the ear canal, precisely so that sessions can go on longer. They are also stated to be water-resistant: a downpour does not interrupt your listening.
What lies behind the “90% recycled plastic” claim?
Plastic makes up 42% of the product, and it is this share that is 90% recycled, from used products — CDs, washing machines, e-bikes. The short version is therefore more flattering than the detail: the latter is the one worth knowing.
Are these Marshall earbuds new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. The exact reference is 1006653. At the end of their life, the manufacturer asks that they be disposed of as electronic waste.
