1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

76 hours of battery life: what does that mean in real use, and how long does it take to recharge?
Count on up to 76 h of wireless listening, which is several weeks at one to two hours a day. A full recharge takes 2 hours via USB-C, and 5 minutes of charging give you 3 hours of music when the battery runs out just before a journey. The battery is a 3.7 V / 500 mAh lithium-ion unit.
Can you keep the headphones connected to two devices at the same time?
Yes, thanks to multipoint connection: the headphones move effortlessly from one Bluetooth device to the other and switch to your mobile when a call comes in during a video on the tablet. You don't miss the call and there is nothing to re-pair.
During a call, can you hear yourself speak, or do your ears feel blocked?
The headphones feature Voice Aware: you hear your own voice when you speak, which stops you talking too loudly without realising. Calls, sound and volume are managed from the buttons on the earcups, with the built-in microphone.
What happens when the battery runs flat in the middle of a journey?
Listening carries on: a detachable audio cable is included in the box and plugs into the earcup to switch to wired listening when the battery is flat. It is also the answer for a source without Bluetooth.
What exactly is in the box of the JBL Tune 720BT?
The headphones, a USB-C charging cable, the detachable audio cable, a warranty booklet and a quick start guide. The mains charger is not included: as the required power supply is 5 V / 1 A, a computer USB port or a phone charger is enough.
Are they easy to carry in a backpack?
Yes. They weigh 220 g and fold flat into your bag. The lightweight materials, soft ear cushions and padded headband are designed for hours of listening in a row, and the controls on the earcup save you from taking your phone out again.
Can you adjust the bass to your taste?
Yes, through the free JBL Headphones app and its equaliser, which tailors the Pure Bass sound as you like. The app also provides voice prompts in your language to guide you through the headphones' features.
Can they handle being used in the height of summer?
Their maximum operating temperature is 45 °C: listening outdoors in summer stays within limits. Avoid, however, leaving them in a car parked in the sun, where that threshold is far exceeded.
Are the JBL Tune 720BT headphones new and under warranty?
Yes: new, authentic headphones, sealed in their original packaging, supplied with the invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The detailed measurements — 40 mm drivers, 32 ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz — are given in the JBL datasheet (PDF).
