1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do the Superlux HD-660 Pro need a headphone amplifier?
No. Their 32-ohm impedance makes them directly usable on a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop, with no loss of volume. That is the difference from 250-ohm studio headphones, which require a dedicated amplifier.
What if the HD-660 Pro cable breaks?
It can be replaced: the 3 m cable is detachable, it disconnects from the ear cup and can be bought again without changing headphones. On monitoring headphones that trail on the floor of a booth or a rack, it is the part that wears out first.
Can they be connected to an audio interface or a mixing desk?
Yes, a 6.35 mm jack adapter comes with the headphones, in addition to their 3.5 mm plug. You go from a laptop headphone output to the front socket of an interface or a console without buying another accessory.
Does sound leak into the microphone during a recording?
The HD-660 Pro are closed-back circumaural: the ear cushions surround the ear, isolate from outside noise and stop sound from leaking. This is what makes them usable in a booth, where open headphones would send the monitor mix back into the recording microphone.
Do these headphones have active noise cancellation?
No, no active cancellation: isolation is passive, achieved by the closed ear cushions around the ear. No electronic processing therefore colours what you hear, which is precisely what studio monitoring calls for.
What is in the box of the Superlux HD-660 Pro?
Three items: the headphones, their detachable 3 m cable and the 6.35 mm jack adapter. Everything you need to plug them into a phone or a studio interface as soon as you open the box.
What do 50 mm drivers bring to the sound?
They are large for headphones: a 50 mm diaphragm moves more air, which helps the bass settle in without strain. With a 10 Hz to 25 kHz response and a sensitivity of 99 dB, the sound remains detailed from bass to treble.
Are the HD-660 Pro new and under warranty?
Yes, they are new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty covered by the invoice. Keep it: it is all you need for any repair.
