1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which devices does the Kraken V3 X Fortnite work with?
PC and PlayStation 4: it is a USB Type-A headset, with a 1.8 m cable. The connection is digital, so there are no sound card settings to deal with, but it requires a USB port — not a controller's jack socket.
Does virtual surround work on PlayStation?
No: Razer restricts virtual surround encoding to 64-bit Windows 10. On PS4, the headset works, but without the spatial audio that helps you locate a footstep or a gunshot.
Does this gaming headset need charging?
No, it has no battery: the USB port powers it. Nothing to monitor, nothing to recharge mid-game; the trade-off is the cable, which requires a free USB port within reach.
Does this headset have RGB lighting?
Yes, it features customisable Razer Chroma RGB lighting — which sets it apart from the BlackShark V2 X, which has none. The headset also comes in Fortnite colours.
What frequency range does the Kraken V3 X cover?
12 Hz to 28 kHz, wider than the usual 20 Hz – 20 kHz, on 40 mm TriForce drivers. Impedance is 32 ohms and sensitivity 103 dB per milliwatt.
How is this headset's microphone designed?
It is a flexible HyperClear cardioid microphone — you bend it to bring it in front of your mouth — with unidirectional pickup, over a 100 Hz to 10 kHz band. Its directionality keeps out keyboard and fan noise.
Where are the volume and microphone mute controls?
On the ear cup: volume up and down on one side, the microphone mute and unmute button on the other. Both can be done without taking your eyes off the screen or opening a menu.
Are the ear cups comfortable over long sessions?
They are oval, 60 × 40 mm inside, padded with memory foam under a hybrid fabric. The headset weighs 285 g and has no active noise cancellation: isolation comes from the cushions.
Is the Razer Kraken V3 X Fortnite headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. Keep it: it is all you need for any workshop repair.
