Can you add memory to this Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14IRH9?
No. The 16 GB of LPDDR5x-5200 is soldered to the motherboard: there is no slot, and the manufacturer's documentation states that the configuration cannot be upgraded. The memory does, however, run in dual-channel mode, which benefits the integrated graphics.
What SSD format does this Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14IRH9 take?
The M.2 2242 format, shorter than the more common 2280 — a decisive detail when buying a replacement drive. The chassis has only one slot, PCIe 4.0 x4, occupied by the 512 GB SSD supplied, and accepts up to 1 TB.
