Does the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 come with a stylus?
Yes, an HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen is in the box — you do not need to buy it separately. It detects tilt, so you can vary the thickness of your stroke as with a pencil, on a touchscreen that rotates 360° to lie flat.
How does the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip turn into a tablet?
Its hinge lets the screen rotate through 360°: laptop mode, tent mode for a presentation, stand mode for a video, then tablet mode once the screen is folded back behind the keyboard. The panel is a multi-touch screen in each of these positions, whether you use the pen or your finger.
How good is the OLED screen on this HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14?
2880 × 1800 pixels in OLED on 14 inches, 100% DCI-P3, a 0.2 ms response time and a variable refresh rate from 48 to 120 Hz that adjusts to the content to save battery. Expect 400 nits in everyday use and 500 nits in HDR, under Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Can you add memory to this HP OmniBook Ultra Flip?
No. The 16 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 is built in and the number of user-accessible memory slots is zero: the configuration is fixed at purchase. The SSD, for its part, is already generous at 1 TB in PCIe Gen4.
What battery life does HP quote for the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14?
Two figures are given: up to 16 hours 15 minutes in general use and up to 20 hours 30 minutes in video playback only. The first is the one to go by for a working day. The 64 Wh battery then regains about 50% of its charge in 45 minutes.
Can you plug a USB flash drive or an HDMI monitor into this OmniBook Ultra Flip?
Not directly: the connectivity is entirely USB-C — two Thunderbolt 4 ports at 40 Gbps with DisplayPort 2.1, one 10 Gbps USB-C port and a headphone jack. For a USB-A flash drive, an HDMI cable or an SD card, you will need an adapter or a small USB-C hub.
What is the 47 TOPS NPU in this HP OmniBook Ultra Flip for?
It is an artificial intelligence accelerator built into the Core Ultra 7 256V: it handles background blur, noise reduction, live captions or assisted photo editing without tying up the main cores, and therefore without draining the battery. Its 47 TOPS put it among the best currently available.
How do you sign in to this OmniBook Ultra Flip without a password?
Two ways: the fingerprint reader and the 9 MP infrared camera, which recognises your face even in a dark room, since infrared does not need visible light. A physical privacy shutter covers the lens when the camera is not in use.
How good are the speakers on this HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14?
There are four of them, tuned by Poly Studio and complemented by HP Audio Boost and DTS:X Ultra processing. Four drivers in a chassis 1.49 cm thick is rare: the soundstage is noticeably wider than with the usual pair, for video calls and videos alike.
What does the haptic touchpad on this OmniBook Ultra Flip bring?
It does not press down mechanically: a motor reproduces the feel of a click across the entire surface, including the very top of the pad, where a conventional clickpad resists. The click therefore feels the same everywhere, and it is silent — a real comfort when you work next to someone.
Is 1.34 kg really light for a 14-inch 2-in-1?
Yes, it is the weight of a conventional ultraportable, hinge and touchscreen included: 1.34 kg for 31.37 × 21.62 cm and 1.49 cm thick. With a 65 W USB-C charger and a pen that slips into your laptop bag, the whole kit stays highly portable.
Is the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-fh0005nk new and under warranty?
