Are all the ports on the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360 USB-C?
Yes: two 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 ports and one 10 Gbps USB-C port, plus a headphone/microphone jack. That is the price of thinness — plan on an adapter or a docking station for a rectangular USB flash drive or an HDMI projector. All three ports handle power and video.
Is the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360's OLED screen suited to photo editing?
Yes. It is a 2880 × 1800 OLED touch panel covering 100% of DCI-P3, with a 0.2 ms response time, a variable refresh rate of 48 to 120 Hz and an ultra-wide viewing angle. It reaches 400 nits in SDR and 500 nits in HDR, under Corning Gorilla 5 glass.
Can the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360's 16 GB of RAM be expanded?
No. The 16 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 is built into the motherboard and no memory slot is accessible: the capacity is fixed at purchase. On the other hand, the 1 TB SSD provides comfortable storage headroom for several years.
How do you unlock the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360 without a password?
Two ways: a fingerprint reader and a 9 MP infrared camera for facial recognition — a rare resolution for a webcam, which also pays off in video calls. Both work from the very first start-up, as Windows 11 comes preinstalled.
What difference does the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360's haptic touchpad make?
It has no physical click mechanism: vibration feedback simulates the press, so the click feels the same across the whole surface, including at the top of the touchpad. You can click whatever the position of your hand, and there are no moving parts to wear out.
How long does the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360 take to charge?
About 50% in 45 minutes, with the device switched off and plugged into the supplied adapter. The battery is 64 Wh, a generous capacity for a 1.34 kg convertible, and the power supply is a 65 W USB-C unit that fits in a laptop bag pocket.
Is the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360's sound good enough without headphones?
It has four speakers driven by HP Audio Boost and DTS:X Ultra technology, which spatialises the sound. The microphone side is tuned by Poly Studio, the HP group's video-conferencing brand: the whole setup is aimed at video calls as much as music.
Does the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360 have an RJ45 network port?
No, there is no built-in Ethernet port: that is the trade-off of a convertible just 1.49 cm thick. Networking goes through Wi-Fi 7, or through a docking station connected to one of the two Thunderbolt 4 ports, which restores a wired connection along with power.
Is the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip AI x360 light to carry?
1.34 kg for 31.37 × 21.62 × 1.49 cm. Its rotating hinge also turns it into a tablet, and the full-size backlit keyboard comes in a dark Atmospheric Blue finish. The 65 W USB-C charger rounds off the package without weighing down your bag.
