Who is the 1 TB version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra for?
For those who shoot in 8K or take 200 MP photos and don't want to sort through their files. That is the most space-hungry format the phone produces, and the only use that genuinely justifies moving up from 256 GB or 512 GB to a terabyte.
What is the Galaxy S25 Ultra's chassis made of?
A titanium frame, lighter than steel for comparable rigidity, and Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass over the screen. That is what keeps the weight down to 218 g with a 6.9-inch diagonal and a built-in S Pen.
How far does the Galaxy S25 Ultra really zoom?
Optical zoom relies on two dedicated focal lengths, 3x and 5x. Beyond that, and up to 100x, magnification is digital: the framing stays stabilised, but the level of detail depends heavily on the available light.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen stored inside the device?
Yes, it is built in: no separate accessory to buy or carry around. You can use it to write by hand, annotate a screenshot, draw or sign a document directly on the 6.9-inch 120 Hz display.
How long does the Galaxy S25 Ultra take to charge?
It supports 45 W fast charging on its 5,000 mAh battery (typical value). That is the highest power Samsung offers, provided you use a charger capable of delivering it.
Does the Galaxy S25 Ultra's front camera focus automatically?
Yes, its 12 MP sensor has autofocus — a real plus for group selfies and video calls, where the fixed focus of more modest sensors quickly shows its limits.
Can the Galaxy S25 Ultra replace a laptop?
Partly: Samsung DeX displays a windowed desktop interface on an external screen, with a keyboard and mouse. Its USB-C port runs at USB 3.2 Gen 1, and audio output is stereo for video conferences.
Does the Galaxy S25 Ultra use the 6 GHz Wi-Fi band?
Yes: its wireless card covers 802.11be on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz — in other words Wi-Fi 7. The 6 GHz band is the least congested, and it is the one that keeps throughput up when many devices are transmitting at the same time.
Does the Galaxy S25 Ultra support eSIM?
Yes, in three configurations: two physical nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. The second line is activated remotely, without opening the tray — handy for keeping a work number separate from a personal one.
How good is the Galaxy S25 Ultra's 200 MP sensor?
It has an f/1.7 aperture and is optically stabilised. Its resolution is mainly useful for cropping without loss: cropping into the image retains a level of detail that a 50 MP sensor could not deliver, including for a large-format print or display.
Can the Galaxy S25 Ultra withstand water and dust?
It is IP68-certified: the 6 means it is completely dust-tight, the 8 means it is protected against prolonged immersion in fresh water. Rain, splashes or rinsing under the tap therefore pose no risk.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for a period of 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for when making a warranty claim.
