1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this Kensington hub need a power supply?
No: no driver, no download, no additional power supply. It just plugs in and works. The trade-off is that its ports deliver 5 V / 0.9 A each.
How many external drives can I connect to this CH1200?
Just one: the hub is designed for one power-hungry accessory — a hard drive — and three low-power accessories, such as a headset, mouse and keyboard. Two drives on the same unpowered hub risk disconnecting.
How fast does the Kensington CH1200 hub transfer data?
10 Gbps, i.e. twenty times USB 2.0, on its four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports. That is the speed that makes an external SSD genuinely comfortable to use.
Does this hub connect to a Thunderbolt port?
Yes: it connects to a USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 or 4, or USB4 port, including one on a docking station. It turns that single port into four USB-A ports.
Which systems does this Kensington hub support?
Windows 10 or later, macOS 11 or later and Chrome OS 91 or later. On a system older than these versions, compatibility is not guaranteed.
