1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do you need a ribbon to print with the Honeywell PC42E-T?
It depends on the mode you choose: it prints in direct thermal, without a ribbon, on heat-sensitive paper; or in thermal transfer, with a ribbon that lays the ink down on the label. The latter withstands time and heat; the former fades.
What label widths does the Honeywell PC42E-T accept?
Rolls from 25.4 to 114 mm wide, and 0.5 and 1 inch ribbon cores. Check this second point before ordering your consumables: a ribbon with the wrong core diameter will not fit.
How fast does the Honeywell PC42E-T print?
Up to 152 mm/s. That is a medium-volume rate — retail, stockroom, order picking — that keeps pace with a shipping station without holding it back, without aiming for the continuous throughput of an industrial machine.
How do you connect the Honeywell PC42E-T to a computer or to the network?
Via an internal Ethernet port and a USB host port, both as standard. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 are available as options: wireless is therefore decided when ordering; it cannot be added later.
What is the ECO button on the Honeywell PC42E-T for?
To reduce label waste. On a label printer, every calibration or restart uses up media: this button limits those losses, and on a roll billed by the metre, the savings show at the end of the month.
Can the Honeywell PC42E-T cut or peel labels?
Yes, but as an option: a cutter and a peeler are available. The peeler presents the label already separated from its liner, which markedly speeds up a station where labels are applied in quick succession.
Does the Honeywell PC42E-T integrate with management software?
Yes: it is stated to be compatible with BarTender, SAP, Oracle WMS and the ZPL II language, with Windows and CUPS Linux drivers. ZPL II makes it possible to replace an existing printer without rewriting the label templates.
