This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the charging stand included with this Engage 55 SE?
Yes. At Jabra, part number 9659-455-111 specifically designates the Engage 55 SE USB-A MS Stereo with stand: the charging stand is part of the kit, not something to order separately.
How many hours of talk time does the Engage 55 SE provide?
Up to 13 hours of talk time, with the busylight switched off — that is the condition under which Jabra quotes this figure. Expect less if you leave the busylight on all day.
How long does it take to recharge the headset?
90 minutes for a full charge, with 40% reached in 30 minutes and 80% in one hour. Wired charging is via USB-C, in addition to the supplied charging stand.
Can you replace the Engage 55 SE's battery yourself?
Yes, the lithium-ion battery is user-replaceable on both the stereo and mono versions, and Jabra lists it separately as the Jabra Engage battery pack. The headband padding is also a listed spare part.
What is DECT and how does it differ from Bluetooth?
It is a wireless link dedicated to telephony, established here by the supplied Jabra Link 400 USB adapter. It reaches up to 150 m, far beyond what an office Bluetooth link offers, and does not depend on the computer's Bluetooth.
Are conversations protected over this wireless link?
Jabra states security that goes beyond the DECT Security level C standard, the highest level of the DECT framework. That is what sets this type of headset apart in environments where customer data is handled.
Do you need to install a driver to use the Engage 55 SE?
No. The Jabra Link 400 USB adapter is plug-and-play: you plug it into a USB-A port and the headset is recognised. Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress remain available for firmware and for managing a fleet.
What does this headset's Microsoft Open Office certification mean?
That its microphone has passed the Microsoft requirements for open offices, the strictest when it comes to picking up voice amid noise. It is a separate certification from Microsoft Teams certification, which the headset also holds.
How does the microphone isolate your voice from the noise of the office floor?
With a dual microphone combining a unidirectional ECM sensor and an analogue MEMS, working over 100 Hz to 7,300 Hz — the speech range. Background noise is removed for the person you are talking to.
How does this headset protect an agent's hearing?
With PeakStop and Jabra SafeTone 2.0, aligned with the European directive on noise at work, the G616 recommendation and OSHA thresholds. Four frameworks overlap, which matters at a workstation with continuous calls.
How much does the stereo version of the Engage 55 SE weigh?
83 g for the two ear cups, compared with 57 g for the mono version. It is an on-ear design: the cushions rest on the ear rather than around it.
Is the Engage 55 SE also good for listening to music?
