Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the real-world battery life of the EPOS ADAPT 360?
Four figures, two uses: talk time 39 h without ANC, 28 h with; listening time 46 h without ANC, 30 h with. Remember the lower values: you do not buy a noise-cancelling headset to turn the feature off.
How long does the headset last on standby?
Up to 62 days on standby, and a full recharge takes 2 h 30 via the included USB-C cable. A headset left in a drawer over the holidays is still usable when you get back.
Does the Microsoft Teams button work without the dongle?
The Teams button works through the included BTD 800 USB dongle: that is what launches the application at the press of a button. The headset remains usable over direct Bluetooth with a phone for ordinary calls.
Can the ADAPT 360 be used wired?
Yes, an audio cable is included. Note its shape: it ends in a 2.5 mm twist-lock connector on the headset side and a 3.5 mm jack on the device side — it is not an ordinary jack cable.
How many microphones does this headset use?
Two, MEMS sensors working in beamforming: they combine their signals to target the direction of the voice. Their frequency response extends from 80 Hz to 8 kHz, the speech range.
Do the ear cushions surround the ear on this model?
Yes, the ADAPT 360 is over-ear: the cushions enclose the ear instead of pressing on it, which adds physical noise attenuation to the ANC. The headset is rated at 238 g.
Does the headset protect your ears from sound peaks?
Yes: the sound pressure level is capped at 108 dB by EPOS ActiveGard. The stated harmonic distortion also stays below 0.3%, on dynamic drivers with a closed design.
Which Bluetooth codecs does the ADAPT 360 support?
SBC and aptX. aptX improves music transmission on devices that support it — this is what lets this professional headset also handle stereo listening on the move.
Can you turn off the headset's voice prompts?
Yes, the voice prompts can be disabled: the headset can stop announcing pairing, battery level or call status if these announcements bother you in meetings.
What is in the box of the EPOS ADAPT 360?
The headset, the BTD 800 USB dongle, a USB-C cable, the audio cable (2.5 mm twist-lock and 3.5 mm jack), a storage pouch, the compliance sheet and the safety guide.
Can you connect the headset to two devices at the same time?
