Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this Engage 65 SE handle both the desk phone and the computer?
Yes, both: the base connects to the desk phone with the supplied telephone adapter cable, and to the computer with the USB-A to USB-C cable, also supplied. A single headset covers both uses.
What is in the box of this Engage 65 SE Convertible?
The headset, the base and its power supply, a telephone adapter cable, a USB-A to USB-C cable, the ear hook, the headband and three sizes of EarGels.
How do I choose between the ear hook, headband and neckband?
The first two are supplied; the neckband is available as an accessory. The ear hook is the most discreet, the headband the most stable if you move around a lot between calls.
What battery life does this 21 g format offer?
Up to 9 hours of talk time, a figure given with the busylight switched off. A full recharge takes 90 minutes on the base, with 40% after the first half hour.
Three sizes of ear tips: what are they for?
To fit the ear tip to each user's ear canal: an EarGel that is too small falls out, one that is too large presses. On a shared workstation, this is what lets everyone find a comfortable fit.
Can colleagues see that the agent is on a call?
Yes, the Busylight lights up during the call. The indicator lights also show battery status, incoming calls, microphone activation and charging in progress.
How good is this model's microphone on a busy floor?
It is a unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone: it picks up along the axis of the mouth and filters out background chatter. It works from 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz, and the headset reproduces 40 Hz to 16,000 Hz.
Can these headsets be managed across an entire fleet?
Yes: Jabra Direct on the workstation, Jabra Xpress for deployment across a whole fleet, and an SDK for integration with business software.
Is hearing protected on this Engage 65 SE?
Yes: PeakStop and Jabra SafeTone 2.0, with compliance with the European directive on noise at work and the G616 standard, covering spikes as well as average exposure.
