Jabra Engage SE Convertible UC wireless headset: the replacement headset for the Engage SE range, supplied on its own to re-equip your existing base.
Wireless: DECT link via a radio base, with a range of up to 100 m so you stay on the call as you move away from your desk.
Convertible wear: worn with an earhook, headband or neckband, whichever each user finds most comfortable; ultra-light at 21 g.
Microphone: noise-cancelling unidirectional microphone that transmits a clear voice despite ambient noise.
Also: up to 9 h of battery life in talk time, recharges in 90 min, Busylight indicator, optimised for Zoom, Google Meet and the leading UC platforms, SafeTone 2.0 and PeakStop hearing protection, management via Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress.

Is this Engage SE Convertible sold with its base?
No: this is the headset only, intended to replace the one on an Engage SE base already in place. For a new installation, you need to choose the complete set with a base or USB adapter.
How is this convertible headset worn?
As an ear hook or with a headband, as you prefer, and as a neckband with the matching accessory. Everyone can choose the fit that suits them on the same model.
21 g on the ear: what difference does that make day to day?
At this weight, you forget you are wearing it: there is no padded headband and no second earpiece. It is the format chosen by people who keep the headset on all day without being on calls all the time.
How many hours of talk time does this headset last?
Up to 9 hours, a figure given with the busy light switched off: a Busylight left on continuously uses its share. Allow 90 minutes for a full recharge, with 40% after just 30 minutes.
Is the busy light built into this headset?
Yes, the Busylight is fitted on this version too: it signals that you are on a call. The lights also indicate an incoming call, microphone status and battery level.
What does the microphone on this convertible model pick up?
A unidirectional noise-reducing microphone: it targets your mouth and filters out surrounding noise, over a band of 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz. The person you are talking to hears your voice, not the office floor.
Which meeting platforms does it work with?
It is Zoom certified and compatible with Google Meet, Amazon Chime and the main UC platforms. It is the UC variant of the range, optimised for online meetings.
Is your hearing protected on this lightweight headset?
Yes: PeakStop and SafeTone 2.0 keep peaks and exposure in check, with compliance with the EU directive on noise at work and the G616 standard.
Is this Jabra Engage SE Convertible new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Jabra packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year on part number 14401-51. Remember that this is the headset only, to be paired with an Engage SE base.
