Frequently asked questions about this product

Two ear cups: what difference does that make in the office?
The faux leather ear cushions cover both ears and passively attenuate the high-pitched sounds of the office floor: you can cut yourself off to concentrate. The trade-off is that you hear your colleagues less well.
How much does the whole set weigh with its control unit?
132 g for the stereo version, controller and cable included — the mono version in the same range weighs 104 g. Only the headset rests on your head, with the control unit hanging along the cable.
Do you need software to make this headset work?
No: it works as soon as it is plugged in, on PC and Mac alike, thanks to the supplied USB-C or USB-A adapter. That is what lets you equip several workstations without going through the IT department.
Where are calls controlled on this stereo model?
On the in-line control unit on the cable: volume, microphone mute, answering and ending calls. The control unit clips onto your clothing and stays at hand throughout the conversation.
How good is the microphone on this Evolve 20 SE stereo?
It is a noise-cancelling boom with a unidirectional electret condenser microphone: it picks up along the axis of your mouth and filters out the open-plan hubbub, with wideband audio.
