How far does the zoom on this Kodak AZ425 reach?
42x optical, i.e. the equivalent of 24 to 1,008 mm in 35 mm terms: from wide angle to very long telephoto. A 4x digital zoom is added on top, for a combined zoom of 168x — but the digital zoom degrades the image.
Will photos be blurry at high zoom?
The camera has optical image stabilisation, essential at 1,008 mm, where the slightest shake shows. At full focal length, however, the flash only reaches 2 to 3.7 metres.
Can this Kodak shoot very close up?
Yes: in macro mode, focusing starts at 1.6 cm — but only at the wide-angle position, not at telephoto.
Which memory card does the Kodak Pixpro AZ425 accept?
SD, SDHC and SDXC cards up to 512 GB. MMC cards are not supported, and no card is included.
