Why choose 512 GB on an iPhone 17e?
So you no longer have to sort things out. With the same display and camera, the capacity doubles compared with the 256 GB version — a real comfort if you often film in 4K Dolby Vision or keep several years of photos on the phone.
Which modem does the iPhone 17e use?
The Apple C1 modem, designed by Apple, which handles the 5G sub-6 GHz connection. It is listed among the device's connectors, alongside the USB-C port. Wi-Fi is 6E — with access to the 6 GHz band.
Does the iPhone 17e use the 6 GHz Wi-Fi band?
Yes: its Wi-Fi is 6E, the version of Wi-Fi 6 that adds access to the 6 GHz band. It is the least congested of the three, and the one that maintains speed when many devices are transmitting at the same time.
Does the iPhone 17e have a SIM card tray?
No: it works with eSIM only, with no physical tray. The line is activated remotely with the carrier. That is the first thing to check: make sure yours offers this option before ordering.
Do you need to buy a charger with the iPhone 17e?
Yes, if you do not have one: the 20 W USB-C power adapter is sold separately. Fast charging is supported via MagSafe as well as USB-C, but it requires an adapter able to deliver the necessary power.
What battery life is quoted for the iPhone 17e?
Up to 45 hours of video playback — the figure does measure continuous video playback, not a day of mixed use. That is a high figure for a compact 6.1-inch, 170 g format.
Is a single camera enough on the iPhone 17e?
Its sensor is a 48 MP 2-in-1 Fusion camera: its resolution allows a lossless 2x digital telephoto, obtained by cropping the centre of the sensor. You therefore get two useful focal lengths without a second module.
Is the iPhone 17e display scratch-resistant?
Its front is made of Ceramic Shield 2, rated for three times better scratch resistance than the previous generation. The chassis is aluminium — on this point, the model makes no savings.
Is the iPhone 17e new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for when making a warranty claim.
