This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

What can you ask Gemini Live on the Galaxy A17 5G?
For help with whatever is in front of you: point the camera at an object, a dish or a document and you get an identification, advice or an explanation, by talking out loud rather than typing a series of questions.
Can the Galaxy A17 5G handle rain?
Yes, within the limits of its IP54 rating: dust and water splashes are covered, immersion is not. A rain shower or wet hands are no problem; the bath, the swimming pool and rinsing under the tap are best avoided.
What is the optical image stabilisation on the Galaxy A17 5G for?
To compensate for hand shake. The sensor can stay exposed for longer without the image moving: photos taken indoors or in the evening come out brighter and sharper, and a video shot while walking becomes much more watchable.
Why does the Galaxy A17 5G have three cameras?
Because they do not cover the same distances: the stabilised 50 MP main camera for everyday shots, the 5 MP ultra-wide camera to fit a landscape or a group into the frame, and the 2 MP macro camera to get within a few centimetres of the subject.
Does the Galaxy A17 5G's Super AMOLED screen make a difference?
Yes: on an AMOLED panel, black pixels are physically switched off. The contrast is therefore in a different league from an LCD screen, which shows on a dark film as well as on white text against a black background. The screen size is 6.7 inches.
How long will the Galaxy A17 5G be supported?
Six OS upgrades and six years of security patches. It is this period, more than the specifications, that determines how many years the phone will remain safe to use and compatible with future apps.
Is the Galaxy A17 5G new and under warranty?
