Frequently asked questions about this product

Are drives included with this ProLiant DL20?
No: it is supplied without drives. It supports two 3.5-inch bays, and the chassis takes up to two 3.5-inch drives or six 2.5-inch drives — something to factor into your budget.
Will this 1U server fit in a shallow rack?
Yes: it is a short-depth, single-socket 1U rack server — 15.05 inches, or about 38 cm. It fits where a standard server will not, in a wall-mounted cabinet for example.
Does this server have a redundant power supply?
No, not out of the box: it ships with a 290 W power supply. Redundancy is supported as an option, to be ordered separately.
How far can the memory in this DL20 be upgraded?
It ships with 16 GB of DDR5 ECC UDIMM and takes up to 128 GB. ECC memory corrects errors on its own, which a PC memory module does not.
What expansion options does this server offer?
Two slots: one PCIe Gen5 and one OCP. The built-in networking is a 4-port 1 GbE Broadcom BCM5719.
Can this server be managed remotely?
Yes: HPE iLO 6 handles firmware deployment, monitoring and debugging without an on-site visit. Security relies on Silicon Root of Trust and secure firmware recovery; TPM is optional.
Is this HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11 server new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new HPE server, reference P65394-421, with a 4-core Intel Xeon E-2434 at 3.4 GHz and built-in Intel VROC SATA software RAID. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for a period of 1 year.
