Pick up without pulling a wire
The wideband handset of the 8068s BT talks to the phone over Bluetooth: no cord links it to the base, and two contact pins charge it as soon as it is put back. The same link accepts a Bluetooth headset or the pairing of a smartphone. For those who prefer wires, the 4-pole 3.5 mm jack takes a headset, and a corded handset can be plugged into the RJ-9 connector.
An AZERTY keyboard that tucks under the display
This FR reference is supplied with its magnetic alphabetic keyboard in AZERTY, connected through an RJ-9 connector reserved for it. It sits at the front of the phone, below the keypad and the display, to type a name in full.

Keys to match the switchboard
Ten soft keys, five on each side of the display, follow the course of the call. The phone handles up to 72 function keys on OmniPCX Enterprise and 40 on OXO Connect or OmniPCX Office RCE; beyond the phone, add-on modules with 10 keys, 40 keys or a 14-key smart display can be added as options.
A display that adjusts its own light
The 3.5-inch colour display sets its backlight by hand or from an ambient light sensor, and an indicator light on the back shell shows the phone's activity. The stand tilts from 25° to 60°.

The 8068s BT registers on an Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise server: you need OXO Connect version 2 or later, OmniPCX Office RCE 10.3 or later, or OmniPCX Enterprise 11.2.1 or later. Check your PBX version, and plan for the optional power adapter if your switch does not provide PoE.

Yes: it is a wideband Bluetooth handset, linked to the phone without a cord and charged through two contact pins when it rests on its base. The phone also accepts a Bluetooth headset, and a corded handset can be plugged into its RJ-9 connector.
Is the 8068s BT keyboard AZERTY?
Yes: reference 3MG27206FR is the AZERTY version, supplied with its magnetic alphabetic keyboard that connects to the phone through a dedicated RJ-9 connector. It sits under the display, at the front of the phone.
Which PBXs does the 8068s BT work with?
It registers on OXO Connect (version 2 and later), OmniPCX Office RCE (10.3 and later), OmniPCX Enterprise (11.2.1 and later) and OpenTouch Business Edition (R2.2 and later). It talks to the server either with the IP NOE protocol or with SIP.
Does the 8068s BT need a power adapter?
