Why does the Grandstream GRP2614 have two screens?

To separate calls from monitoring. The main 2.8-inch colour screen shows the call in progress; the second, 2.4-inch screen carries the monitoring keys. You no longer lose sight of the call while looking for a colleague.

How many SIP accounts does the Grandstream GRP2614 handle?

Up to 6 SIP accounts on 4 line keys. A SIP account is an identity registered with the PBX, a line key is a call in progress: six numbers can therefore ring on this single phone.

Does the Grandstream GRP2614 work over Wi-Fi?

Yes, it has built-in dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 5 GHz band, far less congested than 2.4 GHz in an office building, is what ensures voice calls without dropouts.

What are the 8 extension keys on the GRP2614 for?

They are multi-function keys with dual-colour indicators, programmable for extension monitoring or speed dial. The indicator colour shows the status of the monitored colleague: available, on a call, ringing.

Does the GRP2614 need an extra power socket and network socket?

No to both. It is powered through the network cable (PoE) and has two switched Gigabit Ethernet ports: the computer connects through the phone. A single wall socket is enough for the whole workstation.

How do I secure a fleet of Grandstream GRP2614 phones?
