How many pages can be printed with the ink supplied with the L3210?
8,100 black pages and 6,500 colour pages, or up to three years of printing for a household. The box contains four 65 ml bottles, plus an extra black bottle, which explains the difference between the two yields.
What is the real print speed of the Epson EcoTank L3210?
Two figures, two measurements. 10 pages/min in black and 5 in colour according to ISO/IEC 24734, which includes document processing; 33 and 15 pages/min at peak on plain paper. The ISO figure is the one to go by when estimating a real print job.
Does the Epson L3210 connect over Wi-Fi?
No, its only connection is USB, to a computer. It has neither Wi-Fi nor Ethernet: you cannot send it a document from a phone. If a wireless connection matters to you, look at the L3256, which is identical but has Wi-Fi.
Is the USB cable supplied with the Epson EcoTank L3210?
No, it has to be purchased separately. This is the classic unboxing trap: since the printer connects only via USB, it cannot print anything without this cable. The box does, however, contain the power cable, the ink bottles and the driver CD.
How many sheets does the L3210 tray hold?
100 sheets of input, in the rear tray, and 30 sheets of output: two different capacities that should not be confused. Allow 20 sheets for photo paper, which is thicker.
Does the Epson L3210 printer print double-sided automatically?
No, duplex printing is manual: once the first side is printed, you have to turn the stack over yourself and restart. On documents of a few pages this makes no difference; on a fifty-page report, it changes the way you work.
Which ink bottles are needed to refill the Epson L3210?
Epson 103 bottles, in all four colours. They have a keyed nozzle that prevents you from pouring cyan into the yellow tank, and the tanks are at the front: the ink level can be checked at a glance, without opening the machine.
