This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the print head of the Epson EcoTank L6290 permanent, or does it need replacing?
The PrecisionCore head is permanent and built into the printer (400 nozzles for black, 128 per colour). You never buy a new head: only Epson 101 ink bottles to refill the four front-facing tanks.
Does the Epson L6290 offer automatic duplex printing?
Yes, duplex printing is automatic. It also has a 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF) for copying, scanning or faxing stacks of sheets without turning them over by hand.
How many pages can you print with the ink supplied in the box?
The supplied ink set prints up to 14,000 pages in black and 5,200 in colour (estimated yields based on Epson's method). The box contains 1 black bottle of 127 ml plus an extra black bottle, and 3 colour bottles of 70 ml.
Is the L6290's black ink water-resistant?
Yes. The black uses a pigment ink that produces sharp, durable, water-resistant text, ideal for business documents. The colours (cyan, yellow, magenta) are dye-based.
Is a USB cable supplied with the printer?
No, the USB cable is not included and must be bought separately. You can, however, connect the printer without a cable via Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct or Ethernet.
Does the Epson L6290 connect to a wired (Ethernet) network, or over Wi-Fi only?
It offers every option: USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. That is a real asset for stable sharing in the office, wired or wireless.
Can you scan to PDF and send it by e-mail?
Yes. The scanner produces PDF (as well as BMP, JPEG and TIFF) and, via Epson Connect and the Epson Smart Panel app, you can scan to the cloud or send directly by e-mail. Scan resolution up to 1,200 × 2,400 dpi.
Which paper sizes and envelopes does the L6290 accept?
It prints on A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter and Legal, 9×13 and 10×15 cm photo sizes, as well as C6, DL and No. 10 envelopes. Accepted paper weights range from 64 to 250 g/m², and borderless printing is possible.
Does this printer also fax and copy?
Yes, it is a 4-in-1 multifunction printer: printing, copying, scanning and fax (black and colour, up to 33.6 kbps, 100-page memory and 60 speed-dial numbers).
Does the Epson L6290 use a lot of electricity?
No, it is frugal: around 12 W when copying, 1 W in sleep mode and 0.3 W when off (220-240 V supply). Over time, the very low cost per page of the tanks adds to the savings.
Is the L6290's screen a touchscreen, and can you print from a mobile device?
Yes, it has a 6.1 cm colour LCD touchscreen. For mobile printing, it is compatible with Epson Smart Panel, Epson Connect (iPrint) and Apple AirPrint, as well as Google Cloud Print.
Is the Epson L6290 printer new and under warranty?
