This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Are the printheads of the HP Smart Tank 580 permanent or replaceable?
They are replaceable: the printer uses a black head (M0H50A) and a tri-colour head (6ZA18AE), both included. Ink level sensors help avoid costly printhead replacements.
Does the HP Smart Tank 580 print double-sided automatically?
No. Duplex printing is manual (with driver support): you turn the stack of sheets over to print the reverse side.
Is the USB cable supplied with the HP Smart Tank 580?
No. The USB cable is not included and must be purchased separately. The printer can also work wirelessly over Wi-Fi.
Does the HP Smart Tank 580 have an Ethernet port?
No, it has no Ethernet port. It connects via Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth Low Energy or USB.
How many pages can be printed with the ink supplied with the Smart Tank 580?
The ink supplied prints up to 18,000 black pages and 6,000 colour pages, an exceptional page yield for a very low cost per page.
Does the HP Smart Tank 580 have an automatic document feeder for scanning?
No. The scanner is flatbed only (no automatic feeder). It scans in colour at up to 1,200 dpi, in A4/Letter size.
Which paper sizes and weights does the Smart Tank 580 accept?
It supports A4, B5, A6, DL envelope and Legal sizes. Supported weights: plain paper 60 to 90 g/m², envelopes 75 to 90 g/m², cards up to 200 g/m² and photo paper up to 300 g/m².
Can you scan to PDF from the HP Smart Tank 580?
Yes. Scans are saved in JPEG and PDF formats, to a file via the HP software or the HP Smart app (including scanning from a mobile device).
Does the HP Smart Tank 580 have a fax function?
It has no conventional fax over a telephone line, but it offers mobile fax via the HP Smart app (for sending faxes).
Does the HP Smart Tank 580 use a lot of electricity?
No, it is economical: about 3 W in ready mode, 1.1 W in sleep mode and 0.1 W when off, with HP Auto-On/Auto-Off technology that switches it on and off automatically.
Can you print from a smartphone with the Smart Tank 580?
Yes. It supports the HP Smart app, Apple AirPrint, the Mopria service, Android printing and Wi-Fi Direct.
Is the HP Smart Tank 580 printer noisy?
It stays reasonable for an office: the sound pressure emitted is about 56.8 dBA during operation.
