1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the C270 webcam cable long enough for a tower on the floor?
It is 1.5 m long. Measure the distance between the top of your monitor and the USB port before ordering: 1.5 m is used up quickly when the tower sits on the floor and the monitor on the desk.
Are the photos really 3 megapixels?
The sensor records at 1280 × 720. The 3 megapixels stated for photos are achieved through software interpolation, in other words a computed enlargement rather than the sensor's native resolution. So expect native 720p for video, and snapshots that will do in a pinch for photos.
How does it perform in a poorly lit room?
RightLight technology automatically adjusts the image during the call to compensate for low light, typically a dark room at the end of the day: no manual adjustment is needed, the correction is applied live.
Is the built-in microphone good enough for echo-free calls?
Yes: the built-in microphone uses RightSound technology, which cancels echo and reduces background noise. Video and voice travel over the same USB cable.
Does the C270 webcam work on Mac and Chromebook?
Yes. It is supported on Windows 7, 8 and 10, Chrome OS and macOS X 10.10 or later. It connects to a simple Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, by cable: no wireless receiver to manage, no battery to keep an eye on.
Do you need to install software, and what are the minimum system requirements?
Drivers and utilities as well as Logitech Vid HD are provided. As for the computer, it needs at least a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 200 MB of disk space: requirements that even an old computer easily exceeds.
Which video calling apps is it compatible with?
It is listed as compatible with Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and the main instant messaging apps, for 720p HD video calls with Logitech Fluid Crystal technology.
Is the webcam new and under warranty?
Yes: new and sealed in its original packaging, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the 1-year warranty document. Detailed specifications are gathered in the datasheet (PDF).
