1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the HyperX Vision S record in 4K and at 60 frames per second?
Both are available, but not together: 4K at 30 frames per second, or 1080p at up to 60 frames per second. The first mode is about detail, the second about the smoothness of fast movement — it is a trade-off to make depending on what you are filming.
Which sensor does the HyperX Vision S webcam use?
An 8-megapixel Sony STARVIS IMX415, paired with a low-distortion glass lens. STARVIS is a sensor family designed for low-light sensitivity: that is what holds the image together when the room lighting fades.
Is the Vision S privacy shutter built in or removable?
Removable: it is a magnetic shutter supplied in the box, which you place over the lens. An LED indicator completes the setup by showing when the camera is active. Store the shutter carefully, as it is not part of the body.
Is the HyperX Vision S cable detachable?
Yes. The braided HyperFlex cable, USB-C to USB-A, 1.8 m, unplugs from the camera: easier to carry and to clean, and replaceable without changing the webcam. The connection is USB-C 3.0 on the camera side.
How do you mount the HyperX Vision S on a desk?
With its universal 0.25-inch threaded mount — the standard thread on photo tripods. You can therefore mount it on its own stand as well as on any off-the-shelf arm or tripod, and the mount allows you to adjust rotation and tilt.
Is the Vision S body made of plastic?
No, aluminium. The lens is a scratch-resistant 5G2P. This choice of materials also explains the weight: 259 g for the camera, 314 g with the cable — well above an entry-level webcam.
Can you unlock Windows with the HyperX Vision S?
Yes, it is Windows Hello Certified. It is also specified as compatible with Zoom, Discord, OBS and Teams, on Windows 10 and 11, macOS 10.10 or later and Chrome OS.
Which image settings does the HyperX NGENUITY software offer?
It gives you control over contrast, saturation, white balance and anti-flicker, as well as exposure, zoom and low-light compensation. Enough to lock in a consistent image from one session to the next rather than putting up with the automatic settings.
What is in the box of the HyperX Vision S webcam?
The USB-C webcam, the 1.8 m detachable braided USB-C to USB-A cable, the magnetic shutter and a quick start guide. Everything you need to plug in and film, with no accessory to add.
Is the HyperX Vision S webcam new and under warranty?
New, part number 75X30AA, in original packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The datasheet lists all the specifications.
