This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Insta360 Link 2C have a motorised gimbal like the Link 2?
No. The 2-axis gimbal is exclusive to the Link 2; on the Link 2C, tracking is digital — the camera crops and zooms within the image to keep you in frame, without the body moving. That is what explains its much more compact size.
Does DeskView mode work automatically on the Link 2C?
No, it requires a step on your part: on the Link 2C, you adjust the mount by hand, then fine-tune the angle in Link Controller. It is the Link 2, with its gimbal, that tilts down towards the desk by itself.
How do you cover the Link 2C's lens when you are not using it?
It has an easy-to-reach privacy shutter that blocks the camera. It is a manual shutter: unlike the Link 2, which closes by itself after ten seconds of inactivity, here you decide when.
Which resolutions and frame rates does the Link 2C support?
In landscape: 4K at up to 30 frames per second, 1080p and 720p at up to 60, and 360p. Portrait mode offers the same resolutions. One point to be aware of: H.264 is not supported in 4K portrait or in 1080p at 60 frames per second, where encoding switches to MJPEG.
What computer do you need to use all the Link 2C's features?
A 5th-generation Core i5 or newer is enough for everyday use, but some advanced features require a 10th-generation i5 or newer. Natural bokeh and virtual backgrounds are among those that require a specific configuration.
Which port does the Insta360 Link 2C connect to?
USB-C, with a USB-A adapter for older computers. The link is USB 2.0 and power consumption stays at 5 V / 1 A: the camera makes do with a standard port, without a separate power supply.
Which mounting accessories come with the Link 2C?
A magnetic mount, which attaches to a laptop or monitor, and a 2-in-1 mini tripod, both included in the box. The mount has a 1/4-inch mounting point, the standard thread on photo tripods.
How much does the Insta360 Link 2C weigh?
46.5 g without the magnetic mount, 111.5 g with it, in a 62.7 × 30.2 × 26 mm body. That is half the weight of the Link 2: its size makes it easy to carry in a laptop bag.
Can you control the Link 2C without touching the keyboard?
Yes, with hand gestures: turn on tracking and auto-framing, zoom in or out, trigger whiteboard mode. Control from a smartphone is also available, in addition to the Link Controller software on the computer.
Is the Insta360 Link 2C webcam new and under warranty?
New, in original Insta360 packaging, code 6977644761458. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. It records in 4K with a 1/2-inch sensor, an F1.8 aperture and a 79.5° diagonal field of view.
